World & Intangible Heritage

• Western Qing Tombs (2000) — Inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 (extension of Imperial Tombs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties). Located in Yi County, the Western Qing Tombs house four emperors and their empresses, featuring grand and complete architectural complexes that represent outstanding Qing dynasty imperial mausoleum architecture.
• Baoding Laodiao Opera (2008) — Hebei local opera with 200+ years of history, known for high-pitched singing, national intangible heritage since 2008.
