Overview

Changchun is the capital of Jilin Province, known as the 'Automobile City' for being home to China's First Automobile Works. Changchun Film Studio is the cradle of Chinese cinema, and the Changchun Film Festival is one of China's top four film festivals. Jingyuetan is Asia's largest artificial forest, known as Changchun's 'lung'. The Puppet Emperor's Palace Museum records the history of Puyi, the last emperor. Changchun is also a major science and education city with Jilin University and other prestigious institutions. Green in summer, snow-covered in winter.
