Overview

Foshan is a birthplace of Lingnan culture and China's kung fu hometown. Wong Fei-hung and Ip Man were both from Foshan. The Ancestral Temple features exhibits on both masters and showcases Lingnan architectural art with exquisite carvings. Shiwan ceramics have a thousand-year history. Shunde (part of Foshan) is a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, famous for double-skin milk and raw fish salad.
