Overview

Jiujiang, anciently Xunyang, is the 'mouth of three rivers, thoroughfare of seven provinces'. Mount Lu is a World Heritage cultural landscape. Bai Juyi, Su Shi, Li Bai left immortal poems here. Su Shi wrote 'I cannot tell the true face of Lushan'. White Deer Cave Academy is the foremost of China's four ancient academies. Poyang Lake is China's largest freshwater lake.

China's largest freshwater lake, winter bird paradise with hundreds of thousands of cranes and swans. Shizhong Mountain is a famous lakeside site.
