Overview

Nanning is called 'Green City' for its lush greenery and is the permanent host of the China-ASEAN Expo. Qingxiu Mountain is a national 5A scenic area, the city's green lung. Laoyou Noodles (Old Friend Noodles)

Nanning's most iconic noodles — sour bamboo shoots, fermented black beans, chili and pork stir-fried with broth and noodles. The name 'Old Friend' warms the heart.

Luosifen (Snail Noodles)

Guangxi's most viral dish originated in Liuzhou but hugely popular in Nanning. Snail broth sour-spicy rich with bamboo shoots, tofu skin, peanuts.

Lemon Duck

Nanning specialty, duck marinated with sour lemon and pickled shallots then stir-fried, tangy and appetizing.
