Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in southeastern Guizhou is China's largest Miao and Dong settlement. Xijiang Thousand-Household Miao Village is the world's largest Miao settlement — stilt houses cascade from foot to summit, with night lights like fallen stars. Zhaoxing Dong Village is famous for five drum towers and Dong Grand Song, a UNESCO Intangible Heritage. Zhenyuan Ancient Town has the Wuyang River winding through in an S-curve. Jiabang rice terraces are picturesque year-round. Minority festivals like Miao Sisters' Festival and Dong Sama Festival overflow with mystery and passion.
